realme‘s Vice President Xu Qi Chase has unveiled key details about the realme GT 7 Pro’s periscope telephoto camera, along with sample images, including underwater shots.
The realme GT 7 Pro boasts a custom-made Samsung OLED display measuring 6.78 inches, with a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 6,000 nits.
The device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and features a 6500mAh battery with silicon-carbon anode technology, supporting 120W rapid charging.
The GT 7 Pro is equipped with a unique ship-style multi-reflection design that significantly reduces the thickness of its periscope mechanism.
The focal length has been improved from 65mm to 73mm, which, along with a new AI super-resolution telephoto algorithm, enhances the camera’s capabilities.
The device features a 50 MP periscope telephoto camera that supports 3x optical zoom, 6x lossless zoom, and up to 120x digital zoom. It is also IP68/IP69-rated for water resistance, allowing for underwater photography.
Moreover, the rear camera setup includes a 50 MP primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8 MP ultra-wide lens.
The realme GT 7 Pro is set to launch this November 4, 2PM local time, with a global release expected later in the same month. As of now, there are no updates yet regarding the Philippine launch, but we will keep you posted.
