BLU has announced the F91 5G, its first 5G-compatible device. After the launch of the BLU G91 Max, the company finally enters the fastest growing branch of the smartphone market.
The BLU F91 5G has a similar look to other devices of the brand, sporting thick edges in the front area and a set of cameras housed in a black module, differing from the main color of the device. The model has a 6.8-inch IPS LCD screen with Full HD+ resolution and a hole for the 16MP front camera.
On the back of the device, there is a quadruple set of cameras represented by the main lens with a Samsung GM1 sensor of 48MP , in addition to a wide-angle lens with a 115º angle and a sensor of 5MP, a macro lens with a sensor of 2MP and a bokeh lens with 2MP depth sensor.
To enable 5G connectivity, the phone is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 810, a 2.4GHz octa-core chipset that uses the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The platform works with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage expandable with a micro SD card up to 256GB.
There’s a respectable 5,000 mAh battery with support for 18W (wired) or 10W (wireless) fast charging. According to BLU, its runtimes can reach three days of regular use. The charger is included in the box, as are the headphones, a sturdy protective case and a screen protector.
The F91 5G only supports connection to the n2, n5, n25, n41, n66, n71 and n77 5G bands, working only with US T-Mobile carriers. Other specifications of the device include a fingerprint reader on the side, NFC sensor and Android 11 – still no update date.
