The Black Shark Gaming Phone will officially be revealed on April 13 as announced by the company. Leaked photos started to appear after the announcement but Wu Shimin, CEO of Black Shark, has already stated that the images are fake. The company has confirmed that the upcoming phone will have an antenna design.
According to Black Shark, the gaming phone will be the first phone to sport the “X” antenna design. The design will prevent antenna bands from getting covered during gameplay. Furthermore, it will make sure that the signal connection is stable.
Sketches of the Black Shark Gaming Phone has also been shared on Weibo. The image shows that the GPS and WiFi will be located on the top-left corner of the device and the LTE can be seen on the top-right and bottom-left. The bottom-right corner houses the receiver for the WiFi MIMO. The photo has strengthened the belief that the design will aid in providing quality gameplay without disrupting the connection.
The Black Shark Gaming Phone was first spotted on AnTuTu on February with the codename “BlackShark”. More information about the device was revealed when it appeared on Geekbench. The listing mentioned that the device will arrive with the Snapdragon 845 chipset along with 8GB of RAM and Android 8.0 Oreo. The handset will also be powered by Quick Charge 3.0 for faster charging. It was also leaked that the phone might arrive in other variants with a larger internal storage.
