There have been a numerous amount of leaks and reports regarding ASUS’ Zenfone 5 series these past few weeks. The Taiwanese company also confirmed the launch date of the Zenfone 5 which will happen on February 27 at the Mobile World Congress 2018 in Barcelona.
A new leak surfaced and it is the official render of the Zenfone 5 Lite. It might be Zenfone 5 Selfie Lite, which would be the successor of the Zenfone 4 Selfie Lite. However, ASUS still hasn’t revealed the actual name for the device, we can only guess for now.
The smartphone in the leaked render is in a white variant. The bezels are smaller and it doesn’t have a home button on the chin. At the top, we can make out two camera lens on opposite sides, a LED flash, and the earpiece. According to @evleaks, the Zenfone 5 Lite has a FHD+ resolution. The display size isn’t specified but we presume its between 5.7” to 5.9”.
According to the leakster, the four cameras are 2 x 20MP selfie and 2 x 16MP rear. As per Gizmochina, it might be interpreted as 20MP + 20MP on the front and 16MP + 16MP on the rear, this sure is an overkill for a “Lite” phone. So its most likely 2MP + 20MP for the front cameras and 2MP +16MP for the rear cameras.
