ASUS ROG Phone 8 teased with new design


ASUS Global teases its upcoming gaming smartphone, the ROG Phone 8, through a teaser photo.

The brand has yet to announce the launch date but it is expected to drop in early 2024.

Based on the enhanced teaser photo, the upcoming ROG Phone 8 will sport a triple rear camera configuration with a protruding camera module. There’s also the side-mounted secondary Type-C charging port.

Other official specifications are yet to be revealed. However, it is expected to feature the 3.3GHz 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 octa-core processor with Adreno GPU, and up to 24GB RAM. It is also rumored to come with a 6.78-inch AMOLED (2448 x 1080) panel with a 165Hz refresh rate, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus for protection, and a 6,000mAh battery with 65W charging.

The ROG Phone 8 will expectedly come with a Phone 8 Pro and a Phone 8 Ultimate variant.
