Apple has unveiled the latest Watch Series 7 with new features such as a larger display, curved sides, enhanced durability,  faster charging, and watchOS 8.

The Apple Watch Series 7 comes with an Always-On Retina display. By reducing the bezels, Apple managed to stretch the screen to the edges. It now has roughly 20% more screen surface and 1.7mm thinner borders, which is 40% smaller than those on the Apple Watch Series 6. Apple’s Watch Series 7 is IP6X rated for dust resistance and maintains a WR50 water resistance rating. Apple also claims that the Watch Series 7 is crack resistant.

The latest Apple Watch includes health and wellness features such as an electrical heart sensor and ECG app, as well as a Blood Oxygen sensor. New updates for cycling, workout, and fall detection are also included in watchOS 8. Furthermore, the new Apple Watch analyzes GPS, heart rate, accelerometer, and gyroscope data using advanced algorithms.Apple Watch Series 3

According to Apple, the watchOS 8 also features new workout types, the new Mindfulness app, innovative accessibility features, greater access with Apple Wallet, and more capabilities with the Home app, along with enhancements to Messages and the Photos app.

Apple claims that the new Watch Series 7 comes with 18-hour battery life with 33% faster through to the new USB-C fast charger. Additionally, Apple Watch Series 7 offers backward compatibility with previously released Apple Watch bands.

Apple has made the new Apple Watch Series 7 with recycled Aluminum and in five new colors: Midnight, Starlight, Green, and a new Blue and (PRODUCT) REDapple watch series 7

The Apple Watch Series 7 is priced starting at USD 399 (Php19,873 if converted)Local pricing and availability is yet to be revealed.
