Apple Vision Pro to Launch in the US on January 27

Rumor has it that Apple is gearing up to unveil its much-anticipated Vision Pro headset in the US on January 27, according to supply chain reports. This aligns with previous reports by Gurman hinting at increased production and a potential retail launch in February.

The headset boasts a silicon-based OLED screen (OLEDoS) using a “Color Filter (CF) + WOLED scheme” to enhance color reproduction. This promises users a stunning visual experience with clear visuals, vibrant colors, and top-notch screen quality.

There’s buzz about Apple gearing up for an upgraded Vision Pro headset in 2027. This version is set to shine brighter, thanks to RGB OLEDoS technology. Unlike the current model using WOLED+CF, RGB OLEDoS directly produces light and color from RGB sub-pixels, ditching the need for color filters. This upgrade is all about cranking up the display’s brightness for an even more vibrant visual experience.

Vision Pro flaunts a high-res display with over 23 million pixels, fueled by the M2 and R1 chips for speedy sensor data processing.

Equipped with various sensors, including LiDAR for precise tracking, the device captures 3D photos and videos, making it versatile for gaming, movies, and augmented reality. All this innovation comes at a starting price of $3,499 (approx. 195,000).
