Apple Vision Pro Expanding? Nine New Countries Expected

After kicking off its Apple Vision Pro in the US, Apple seems to be gearing up for a global rollout, with nine more countries potentially in line. While the current version only speaks American English and emoji, some sleuthing into the tech’s code hints at a dozen new languages in the works.

The code in visionOS hints that soon, the virtual keyboard and autocorrect will work with different languages.

  • Cantonese, Traditional
  • Chinese, Simplified
  • English (Australia)
  • English (Canada)
  • English (Japan)
  • English (Singapore)
  • English (UK)
  • French (Canada)
  • French (France)
  • German (Germany)
  • Japanese
  • Korean

These languages suggest Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, and the United Kingdom might be next in line, with Hong Kong and Taiwan also possibly in the mix. However, it’s all speculation until Apple gives the green light.

Although Apple promised to spread its Vision Pro wings to more countries this year, the exact timeline remains uncertain. Renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo suggests we might see the expansion before the big Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) this June 2024.

So, are we all set for a wider world of Vision Pro? Anyone here eagerly awaiting the launch of the Apple Vision Pro in the Philippines?
