
A new leak has revealed more details about Apple‘s rumored foldable smartphone, including its battery capacity.
According to information shared by tipster Digital Chat Station, the device may use a dual-cell battery with capacities of 1,921mAh and 2,962mAh. Together, the two cells are said to provide a total battery capacity of 4,883mAh.
Additionally, according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the device is also expected to be powered by Apple’s upcoming A20 Pro chip, paired with 12GB of RAM and the company’s C2 5G modem.
Other rumored specifications include dual 48MP rear cameras and a front camera of up to 24MP.

For security, the foldable iPhone is rumored to feature a side-mounted Touch ID fingerprint sensor instead of Face ID.
Adding to the launch timeline, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman recently said the foldable iPhone is still on track to debut alongside the iPhone 18 Pro lineup in September 2026.
