Apple Announced An Event

Apple announced on Thursday that it will hold an event on March 9. And speculatively, this would be about the Apple Watch.

The event is an invitation-only which will be held at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, San Francisco. The invitation simply said ‘Spring Forward’ – a phrase that depicts time that is why people are guessing for this event to truly be about Apple Watch, since CEO Tim Cook has previously said that the wearable gadget would ship soon.

Last October, the company showed off its smartwatch but this time around the company is expected to give more details about the device’s functionalities and features.

No details on the price have been announced yet, but Cook said that it would probably start at about $350. Besides the smartwatch, there’s also some speculation that the tech giant may reveal a new music streaming service at the event.

Whatever that might be, spectators who cannot be there in person can get their share of information live via video feed. All that will be needed is Apple’s dedicated live event sites, and a recent version of Safari running on OS X or on iOS. Users can also stream directly via Apple TV as long as it is a second or third generation device with Apple TV OS version 6.2 or higher.
