AnTuTu, a benchmarking platform, has recently unveiled its smartphone ranking for December 2021 in China.
For the flagship segment, Xiaomi’s Black Shark 4S Pro is still at the top, powered by a Snapdragon 888 Plus, with an average score of 874,702. The second spot is occupied by nubia’s Red Magic 6s Pro with 852,985 points, while vivo’s iQOO 8 Pro ranked third with 845,580 points. These three smartphones maintained their ranking since October 2021.
New on the list is are the OPPO Find N (836,772), iQOO Neo5S (825,706), and Motorola Edge S30 (825,232). Completing the list are the vivo X70 Pro +, iQOO 8, ASUS ROG Phone 5s, and OPPO Find X3 Pro. All of the smartphones in the flagship ranking are powered with either Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 or 888 Plus.
There’s no Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 powered smartphone on the list despite the launch of the Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro, and Motorola Edge X30 in December 2021. That’s because of the lack of sufficient data that resulted in the absence of the smartphones equipped with the said chipset, AnTuTu said. However, this year’s ranking will likely change considering the launch of the smartphones with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC.
