The most notable feature of the new iPhone 14 Pro models, Dynamic Island, has been ripped off for Android.

In case you weren’t aware, the notch on the new iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max has been redesigned. Along with it, Apple unveiled Dynamic Island, a new user interface feature that hides the pill-shaped notch while displaying notifications, timers, music, and a ton more.

We won’t be shocked if a feature like this comes to Android, just like other iOS additions have. And – at least unofficially— it appears to have already occurred.

A Xiaomi MIUI device has a notification feature that resembles Dynamic Island. It reportedly functions using the Grumpy UI theme, but only in the Chinese language for the time being.

The punch-hole in the upper left of the screen was successfully hidden using the technique, as seen in the little video demonstration above.

The theme’s creators stated that the upgrade is still being considered. It will be accessible to Xiaomi users through the MIUI Themes shop after it has been authorized.
