Google’s Android 11 is reportedly having the fastest adoption rate of any Android version in the US. This is according to data shared by StatCounter. For the past 6 months, Android has about 25% market share when it comes to phones and tablets. On the other hand, Android 10 is still widely used in the US with a 33% market share.
When it comes to worldwide sales, Android 10 still leads with 41% market share and is the most popular in Europe and Asia while Android 11 is coming next. And it seems that Google along with its partners are doing a good job when it comes to fighting Android fragmentation every release. It was also confirmed back in July from Google that Android 11 has the fastest adoption rate at the time.
Just for the record, StatCounter’s report is not official and we have to wait for Google’s official report when it comes to Android 11’s adoption rate.
