Acer Gadget, a subsidiary of Acer, has unveiled two new devices at COMPUTEX 2025 — the Acer FreeSense Ring and Acer AI TransBuds.
According to Acer, these new products indicate the company’s continued involvement in AI-powered wearables and real-time communication tools. Acer Gadget is also set to present its latest e-mobility offerings — including e-scooters, e-bikes, and related accessories — showcasing a product strategy that covers wellness, connectivity, and mobility.
The Acer FreeSense Ring combines a minimalist design with biometric sensing capabilities for daily health monitoring. It measures key physiological data such as heart rate, heart rate variability, blood oxygen levels, and sleep quality.
A companion mobile app processes the data to offer wellness insights and recommendations. Features include sleep stage tracking and continuous monitoring. Users can access their health data without requiring a subscription, positioning the FreeSense Ring as a tool for regular health tracking.
The Acer FreeSense Ring measures 2.6 mm/8 mm and weighs around 2-3 grams. It is available in either Rose Gold (Matte) or Black (Glossy).
It is made of titanium alloy, vacuum plating, and PVD coating. It supports IP68 / 5 ATM water resistance.
There are a total of 7 sizes to choose from.
The Acer AI TransBuds are compact and lightweight earbuds developed to assist with multilingual communication. When connected to a smartphone or tablet using a plug-in receiver, they enable real-time, two-way voice translation using AI-powered speech recognition and semantic processing.
Only one participant is required to wear the earbuds for translation to function, making them suitable for informal conversations, business discussions, livestreams, or virtual learning environments. Additional features include live captioning and transcription, allowing users to follow and review conversations.
The system currently supports 15 widely spoken languages including German (DE), English (EN), Spanish (ES), French (FR), Filipino (FIL), Italian (IT), Indonesian (ID), Japanese (JA), Korean (KO), Malay (MS), Portuguese (PT), Russian (RU), Thai (TH), Vietnamese (VI), and Chinese (ZH).
Acer Gadget is also showcasing its latest e-mobility offerings, including e-scooters and e-bikes, intended for urban commuting as well as recreational use. The lineup includes models such as the Acer eScooter Series 4 Select, Series 5 Select, Predator ES Storm, and Predator ES Thunder, all featuring 400 W to 500 W motors along with adaptive braking and suspension systems. Users can monitor performance and adjust security settings through the Acer eMobility App.
Also featured is the Predator eRanger, a fat-tire e-bike that was previously introduced at the Taipei Cycle Show 2025, reflecting the company’s continued development of smart and flexible mobility products.
Acer will be at COMPUTEX 2025, and those interested can visit at Acer showcase at Booth M0104, 4F, Hall 1 at the Nangang Exhibition Center.
