In addition to introducing goods under its own name, Xiaomi is renowned for doing the same under its two subsidiary brands, Redmi and POCO. Both were developed to provide many gadgets in various price ranges and market niches.

According to a recent rumor, Xiaomi is allegedly working on launching a new sub-brand or perhaps simply a new line of smartphones. The aforementioned products are allegedly designed for IT admirers.

It appears that the “tech enthusiasts” Xiaomi is referring to are the followers of OnePlus, a brand that was formerly pro-enthusiast but is now gradually evolving to more closely resemble its parent firm, OPPO.

Although Google’s Pixel products have lost some of their appeal among these customers in India, the brand nevertheless enjoyed some success there. Xiaomi aims to fill the gap that has now been left.

According to the rumor, the new line of smartphones would use the powerful Qualcomm 700 series of midrange CPUs and run a stock version of Android with perhaps no MIUI. The Snapdragon 765 CPU will be included with the less priced alternatives, while the Snapdragon 778 CPU will be included with the more expensive ones.

These devices are also protected so that they may receive four years of security updates and three major updates.

The gadgets will cost between around INR15,000 (roughly Php10,500) and INR25,000 (about Php17,600). Then they will be constructed in India.

Take this information lightly as Xiaomi has not yet made an official announcement.
