Apple’s September 12th Event Teases Exciting iPhone 15 Unveiling

Apple said it will hold a press event on September 12 at its offices in Cupertino, California. At this event, the company is likely to show off new iPhones.

At 1:00PM ET, the launch event will be shown live on Apple’s website. Since 2020, Apple has used movies that were already made to show off its new iPhones.

After the European Union passed a landmark law in October requiring all phones, tablets, and cameras sold in the EU to use USB-C for wired charging by Dec. 28, 2024, it is possible that the new iPhone models, likely called the iPhone 15, will have a USB-C charging port.

Reports say that some of the new Apple products could be made out of titanium. At the event, the company might also show off new Apple Watch models, such as an updated version of the high-end Apple Watch Ultra.

At the September event, Apple also usually shows off the new version of iOS for iPhones. This year’s iOS 17 software has a new writing app and a more visual caller ID called “contact posters.” It also has better autocorrect and a better way to see who is calling.
