
The realme’s best-selling 5G phone–the realme 8 5G is now available via postpaid plans starting P999 per month. The device was launched last June 2021 and it is the latest 5G offering from the brand.
It sports a large 6.5-inches FHD+ IPS LCD, with a 90Hz refresh rate and 600nits max auto-brightness perfect for outdoor use. It is powered by a 5G chipset–Dimensity 700 5G with 7nm architecture which should be a power-efficient processor. It is paired with up to 8GB of ram and 128GB internal storage and for its camera, it is consists of a triple cam with 48MP on its main shooter and 2MP for both macro and depth while the front camera has a 16MP selfie.
Powering up the device is a large 5000mAh battery paired with an 18W quick charging. It is available in two color variants, Supersonic Blue and Supersonic Black. It also features dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, Gyro, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The realme 8 5G is priced at P11,990 SRP on its 8GB/128GB configuration. But with the Globe Postpaid plan, the realme 8 5G is available at Plan 999. This comes with free 5GB of data, Unli All-Net Texts, and Unli All-Net Calls or Calls to DUO and Landline. But it also comes with FREE 3GB of GoWiFi, FREE KonsultaMD (Individual Subscription), and FREE GInsure (3 months COVID-19 coverage from Singlife).
On the other hand, the realme 8 5G will also be available through the Smart Signature plan, also in Plan 999 and this comes with free 5GB of data, Unli All-Net Texts, Unli All-Net Calls, and 50 mins Calls to PLDT.
