Huawei is having a blast these past few days as they have officially launched their very own HarmonOS. Now, the company has also revealed its brand-new MatePad Pro 12.6, which can be a contender with Apple’s iPad Pro line and Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S-series. There is also the smaller version which is the Pro 10.8-inches and the MatePad 11 that will fit perfectly for students as it is the most affordable among the bunch.

The Huawei MatePad Pro 12.6 and 10.8 feature Huawei’s HarmonyOS in the box. This will give you a desktop vibe as you open it up. One awesome feature Huawei placed is the enhanced mouse support all through its OS while live apps preview is available, adding to the desktop-like experience. Multi-tasking is also one highlight as the Multi-screen Collaboration is featured in these tablets. This allows the user to drag and drop files on the MatePad, while your Huawei phone can be mirrored in the tablet as you can answer phone calls and type your messages.
The Mirror feature also takes it to the next level as you can link up the tablet to compatible Windows-powered Huawei laptops. This allows you to use the tablet as a standalone drawing device for Photoshop and even acts as a secondary monitor, ensuring a high level of productivity.
The Huawei MatePad Pro 12.6 version features a 12.6-inches OLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate while the 10.8 variant will showcase an IPS LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate. The 12.6 version will be powered with a Kirin 9000E processor while the 10.8 variant has a Snapdragon 870 SoC. Both tablets will come with 8GB RAM and can choose from 128/256GB internal storage.
When it comes to the battery, the MatePade Pro 12.6 will have a massive 10,000mAh capacity which is supported with a 40W fast wired charging, 27W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless. As for the 10.8 version, it will come with a 7,250mAh battery capacity. Also, both tablets will feature Huawei’s new M-Pencil stylus and a smart magnetic keyboard.

Both versions will be available in gray, green, and white colors. The MatePad Pro 12.6 will be available in Europe for €799 (₱46,455 est.). The 10.8 model’s availability and pricing will be revealed soon.
