
Sharp has launched its brand-new smartphone device which features an impressive 1-inch rear camera. This is the Sharp Aquos R6 and sports awesome specs.
Under the hood, it utilizes a Snapdragon 888 chipset which is supported with a 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB storage which includes a MicroSD slot that can be expanded up to 1TB. It also has a 5000mAh battery capacity which is supported with an Intelligent Charge 2.0. For its screen, it sports a 6.6-inch Pro IGZO OLED display from Sharp. It will also feature a 240Hz refresh rate and a 2,000 nits brightness peak.
Now, when it comes to the camera department, both frontal and rear will be featuring one camera each. For the front, it will feature a 12.6MP camera. When it comes to its rear, it will feature a 20MP 1-inch CMOS sensor. It also comes with a 7-element f/1.9 Leica Summicron lens which is equivalent to a focal length of 19mm, making it wider compared to phones released this year. Also, the frontal camera will be equipped with an LED flash a time-of-flight sensor. There will also be laser autofocus support along with Sharp’s 8K HDR up-conversion technology.
The Sharp Aquos R6 will be using Android 11 as its OS and will be available through NTT Docomo and SoftBank in June in Japan. However, Sharp has not shared as of the moment how much it will cost and its availability internationally.
