The China-specific model of Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite has been announced and it’s called the Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth. The international variant launched with Snapdragon 765G and 48MP quad-cameras last month for ~P20K, however, the domestic model features a telescopic lens that offers up to 50x zoom while keeping the price lower at CNY 2099(~P15K). The Mi 10 Lite will be available starting April 30th.

The Mi 10 Lite specs reveal that it’s compatible with 5G networks. As for that telescopic lens, the newly added camera can provide up to 50x digital zoom, 10x hybrid zoom, 5x optical zoom, and OIS when taking photos and videos. On top of that are 48MP main sensor, 2MP macro, and 8MP ultrawide lenses. Just like the international model, the 6.57″ display is of Pentile AMOLED that supports HDR10+, 180Hz touch rate, and up to 800 nits of brightness.
A special Doraemon limited edition Mi 10 Lite is said to be on the horizon, but for now, the phone comes in white, blue, black, green, and peach.
