Realme introduced the Realme 5i in Vietnam with VTD 3,690,000 or ~P8K price tag. Available in Blue and Green colors, the affordable phone is taking the specs of Realme 5, one of the best budget phones in 2019, but dons a new design and a downgraded selfie camera. The device is already on sale with a potential launch in India this week.
Instead of using the diamond-like pattern finish of the Realme 5, the company went ahead for a subtle, reflective glass-like coating. Make no mistake, Realme 5i is still the same polycarbonate phone with a teardrop notch in its display. For the rest of the specs, you can expect the same Snapdragon 665 chipset, 5000mAh battery that charges via MicroUSB rated 10W, and 12MP quad-camera setup.
Although it’s highly unlikely for the 5i to launch in the Philippines, it’s going to be interesting to see the pricing if it will ever arrive. Realme 5 starts at P6,990 which is already a competitive price point.
