Xiaomi gaming phones Black Shark 2 and Black Shark 2 Pro are now available to purchase in the Philippines. Both feature Liquid Cooling technology with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The standard model with Snapdragon 855 is priced at P22,990 (6GB/128GB), P23,990 (8GB/128GB), and P28,990 (12GB/256GB). While the pro model with SD 855+Â comes in two configurations — P27,990(8GB/128GB) and P33,490 (12GB/256GB).
The Black Shark 2 was announced back in March and boasted the world’s lowest latency screen touch for a much better gaming experience. The 6.39″ AMOLED is pressure-sensitive, which means you can map two more buttons for the left and right portion of the display. Available in green/black color, the device features an illuminated LED logo on the back.
As for the Black Shark 2 Pro, the specification is headlined by the Snapdragon 855+ and Direct Touch Liquid Cooling technology. Combined with UFS 3.0 storage, it’s easily one of the fastest-performing gaming phones right now. While it’s using the same display as the non-pro model, the touch latency is decreased from 43.5ms to 34.7ms (partly due to 240Hz touch rate). The design is also improved for a more comfortable grip while adding two more RGB LEDs for bragging rights. The handset is available in several colors but it seems only the blue/orange arrived locally.
