Not to be confused with Huawei Y9s, Vivo Y9s is another mid-range phone that packs impressive specs. For starters, the chipset is Helio P65 with a total of five cameras to boot. The battery life is expected to be great due to the large 4500mAh capacity. These specs were confirmed through a TENAA certification, however, there are two model numbers (V1945T and V1945A). This probably indicates the 6GB and 8GB variants.

There’s no firm launch date yet for Vivo Y9s, however, a TENAA certification usually indicates a week or two release timeline. There are three colors to expect — gold, black, and blue. The phone uses a 6.38″ FHD+ AMOLED screen with a teardrop notch. Inside the notch is a 32MP selfie sensor. As for the main cameras, there are four and all of them are housed inside a diamond-cut module. This is the second time we’re seeing this camera design, with the Vivo S5 being the first. Diving into the cameras, the main shooter is 48MP with an option to go ultrawide via 8MP. The other two are 2MP lenses for depth and macro. The large battery supports 18W fast charging and charges via USB Type-C. And yes, there’s a headphone jack and under-screen fingerprint scanner.
It was only a few days ago when the Chinese company launched the Vivo Y5s. It’s a smaller phone with the same Helio P65 chipset, but there are three main cameras and the battery is larger at 5000mAH. It has a price of CNY 1498 or nearly P10K in Philippine peso.
