Regardless of the ongoing US-Huawei trade ban, Huawei is pushing thru its upcoming Huawei Mate 30 Series launch that will be held in Germany on September 19. This is after releasing an official invite on its social media handles.
The short clip seems to deliver a message about something round. While this could easily be about the company’s amazing camera sensors, we also think that it’s pointing out to a circular camera module on the back. It’s funny when you think about Apple and Google using squared modules after Huawei has done it for the past year.
Did you get it right? The countdown to #HuaweiMate30 starts now!
We’re going full circle in Munich on 19.09.2019.

Rumor has it that the notch will be smaller but will feature a dual-selfie camera. But one thing that’s confirmed to come on the Mate 30 Series is the company’s newest Kirin 990 SoC. Aside from typical performance upgrades, it’s also said to come with built-in 5G support. Other than that, details are scarce. Perhaps, the most interesting bit you want to know about is if it will come with Android OS. With EMUI 10 based on Android 10 (formerly Q), we see the devices to run on Google’s mobile platform. However, it’s just that Google apps are not pre-installed. That said, we do think you can sideload them thru apk. Of course, take that with a grain of salt.
