
A few days ago, Xiaomi released Mi A2 lineup with almost the same specifications but with Mi A2 Lite having a smaller storage and surprisingly the notch display. Going to Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 which was released late last month boasts the 5000 mAh battery claiming the “Battery King” title.
With the same price range, we made the comparison of the two devices to see which is better than the other.

Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite sports a 5.84-inch with a screen resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels. Meanwhile, Zenfone Pro Max M1 comes with 5.99-inch with a 1080 x 2160 resolution, and 18:9 aspect ratio. Both devices feature an IPS LCD display.
Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite dimension measurement is 149.3 x 71.7 x 8.8 mm weighs 178 grams while Asus Zenfone Pro Max M1 is heavier with 180 grams and measurement of 159 x 76 x 8.5 mm.
Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 with Adreno 506 GPU. While Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 has a higher processor and GPU of Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 with Adreno 509 GPU. Mi A2 lite carries 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and just like, Zenfone Max Pro M1 the Mi A2 lite has 3GB RAM + 32GB storage that can be expanded up to 256GB via micro SD.
Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite sports a 12 MP, f/2.2 + 5 MP, f/2.2 paired with 5 MP, f/2.0 aperture, Meanwhile, Asus Zenfone Pro Max M1 has 13MP f/2.2 + 5MP f/2.4 paired with an 8MP f/2.2 front-facing camera.
Asus is really determined for the “Battery King” title, with Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 packed with 5000 mAh while Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite packed with 4,000 mAh battery.

Asus issues: Ghost touches, battery drain, overheating, memory leak and motherboard sudden death issue!
P.S. I have not rooted mine and I seldom used it. I only maintain few apps that I really need. I’ll be trying other brands.
