Instagram launches portrait mode for IG stories

The portrait mode in photos has been very popular in smartphones nowadays. Almost all smartphones getting launched this year will have this feature, and has become one of the main selling points of many smartphones with a dual camera setup. Now, Instagram announced the bokeh effect on the app and can be used for the IG stories.
The camera mode is called “Focus” and the option to use it sits right next to the Superzoom effect. To use the mentioned effect, head to IG stories, and swipe to the left twice. It will automatically detect the face of the subject and the bokeh effect will turn on. This effect works on both rear and selfie cameras.
This new feature is now available on Apple iPhone SE, 6S, 6S Plus, 7, 7 Plus, 8, 8 Plus, and iPhone X. Instagram also mentioned that the Focus effect works for selected Android devices.
