
Honor has officially introduced the Honor 7A after numerous rumors and speculations. It has been confirmed that the smartphone will sport a full-screen design along with dual rear cameras. Not only that but the phone is priced less than 1,000 Yuan making it a budget-friendly phone.
Honor 7A features a 5.7″ HD+ display with a resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. Its dimensions measures 152.4 x 73 x 7.8mm and it weighs 150 grams.
Under the hood, the device runs on the Snapdragon 430 chipset powered by a 3,000mAh battery. There are two variants of the Honor 7A. One features 2GB of RAM while the other has 3GB of RAM. Both have an internal storage of 32GB and runs on Android 8.0.
As for its camera setup, it has 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual rear cameras. The device’s camera supports numerous photography modes such as bokeh effect, beauty mode, aperture mode, watermark mode, smile capture and AR stickers. Honor 7A also has a 8-megapixel front camera which supports face detection for the face unlock feature. The fingerprint scanner of the phone can be located on the back.
Honor 7A is available in three colors: Aurora Blue, Midnight Black and Platinum Gold. Its price depends on its variants. the 2GB RAM + 32GB is priced at 799 Yuan (approx. Php 6,627) and the 3GB RAM + 32GB is priced at 999 Yuan (approx. Php 8,286). Honor 7A will be available tomorrow morning in China. As of now, there are no announcements on when it’ll be available for other countries.
