Enough with the rumors cause the launch of the Xiaomi Redmi 5 has been announced. Posted on Weibo, is the smartphone being displayed by members of known group SNH48. The release date of both the Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus seen on the poster is on December 7.
That said, specs of the Xiaomi Redmi 5 includes a FullView screen, single rear camera, and a rear fingerprint scanner. Since the poster stated that it is “A phone for a thousand,” price of the Redmi 5 is assumed to be around CNY1,000/$150/PHP 7,600. Global pricing and release are yet to be announced.
