Launched officially in the Indian markets, the Sony Xperia R1 and R1 Plus could join the mid-rangers if launched in the Philippines. Sony mentioned that these two devices are designed for “Indian lifestyle” and “to excite the new Indian.”
That aside, the only difference between the Sony Xperia R1 and R1 Plus is that the Plus model has a 3GB RAM/32GB ROM storage. Both available in Black and Silver, the R1 costs INR 13,990/$215/PHP 11,100 while the R1 Plus is priced at INR 15,990/$245/PHP 12,600. Sale starts on November 10 across India. We’ll keep you updated if it releases globally.
