After the release of Xiaomi’s Mi Mix and Mi Note 3, leaks were rampant online with the upcoming budget Xiaomi smartphones. Among the leaked devices were expected to be the Xiaomi Redmi 5, Redmi 5 Plus and Note 5.
That said, the Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus packaging was leaked on reknowned famous website Weibo. You can see the image below. Aside from that, Xiaomi’s Redmi 5A was also spotted on TENNA listing sporting a 5-inch HD display. Inside specs include a 3GB RAM/32GB ROM powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core chipset and a 4000mAh battery.
While the packaging of the Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus was leaked, the rumored specs of the Xiaomi Note 5 were as well. Since the predecessor Redmi 4 is priced at $106, people expect that the Redmi 5 Plus may cost around $136/P7600. So, stay tuned for updates and launch event announcements!
