Motorola is set to unveil and release two new Moto X or Droid models according to the recently leaked pictures we’ve come upon–and they’re looking helluva cool.
Codenamed Vector Thin, this Moto has all-metal build while tipping the scale at 5.2mm depth. This is really thinner than most flagship Android phones today, but what catch our attention is the pin connectors on the back, which is allegedly a modular port of upcoming accessories. Not close with what we see in LG G5, but the sense is still modular if true. The specs are said to par with what’s on the high-end devices of the competition with a 5.5-inch AMOLED Quad HD 2K screen, Snapdragon 820 quad chip, 2GB of RAM, and 16MP main camera.
More leaks, reviews, and comparisons
The mid-range Moto X model packs the same 5.5-inch AMOLED screen but with 1080p Full HD resolution instead. The chip is alleged to be a Snapdragon 652 octa-core paired with either 3GB or 4GB RAM. The camera is 13MP and battery is larger at 3500mAh compared to 2800mAh of the high-end model.
There are no price and release date nor specific model names for each device. Likely, these two will debut under the 2016 Motorola Moto X brand globally while Droid in the USA.
What do you think of the looks of these upcoming Moto? Do you like the new build and modular approach sans pricing?
