Redmi 11 Prime Series Launched: The Redmi 11 Prime and Redmi 11 Prime 5G have now been formally introduced by Xiaomi in India after many days of teasers. Along with the Redmi A1, the two smartphones were introduced. The three devices listed above are a part of Xiaomi’s special Diwali with Mi Launches. Redmi 11 Prime Series Specifications
The Redmi 11 Prime series comprises of two versions, the Redmi 11 Prime and Redmi 11 Prime 5G, the first of which only supports 4G while the latter supports 5G.
With a new rear appearance, the Redmi 11 Prime is identical to the previously released Poco M5. The Redmi 11 Prime 5G, on the other hand, is a rebranded Redmi Note 11E from China, which is also known as the Redmi 10 5G in Southeast Asia.
Regarding features, each smartphone has a 6.58-inch LCD display with a 2408 x 1080 (FHD+) resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a dewdrop notch. They both boot the identical MIUI 13 software, which is based on Android 12.
In addition, they have a 50MP primary camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 5MP selfie camera. A second 2MP macro camera is included with the 4G model.
Their chipsets make a significant distinction between the two. The MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor in the 5G model replaces the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC, which is responsible for the 4G variant’s Bluetooth 5.3 functionality. Both models include a dedicated MicroSD card port, LPDDR4x RAM, and UFS 2.2 storage.
Dual-band WiFi, GNSS, a fingerprint sensor located on the side, an IR blaster, a 3.5mm headphone socket, a 5,000mAh battery, and 18W fast charging compatibility round out their remaining features (ships with a 22.5W fast charger).
The measurements of both of them are 164 x 76.1 x 8.9 mm. The 4G model, however, weighs 201g vs 200g for the 5G version, making it somewhat heavier.
