The V25 series was launched in India along with a third variant, the V25e. MediaTek’s Helio G99 processor is used in the V25e, announced in Malaysia (which most likely means a local release). Compared to the Helio G96, the new 4G MediaTek processor uses a 6nm process, which should result in significant power savings.
You get the same 6.44-inch AMOLED display as the vanilla V25 and a 90Hz refresh rate, though the notch only houses a 32-megapixel selfie camera. There is also an in-display fingerprint scanner. Not just that, but the device has three rear cameras, including a 64-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilization and two 2-megapixel cameras. A 4500mAh battery supports 44w charging and keeps the lights on.
In Malaysia, the V25e costs RM 1399 (around ₱17,600). Due to its predecessor’s availability in the Philippines, we will likely see the V25e soon.
