Following the global launch of the Red Magic 7, ZTE‘s sub-brand nubia has now announced that the Red Magic 7 Pro has arrived globally including the Philippines.
To recap, the nubia Red Magic 7 sports a full-screen 6.8-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 960Hz touch sampling rate. There’s an under-display camera (UDC), with tripod-shaped pixel arrangement and wave-shaped electrode wiring, as well as a built-in UDC Pro screen display chip.
Under the hood, it comes with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC along with 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM, up to 512GB UFS 3.1 internal storage, and a 5,000mAh Dual Cell Battery with 65W charging. Aside from the Adreno, the device also has a dedicated gaming chip called the Red Core 1 that handles audio, RGB lighting, and haptics.
Moreover, the Red Magic 7 features a 500Hz touch sampling shoulder triggers with a response speed as low as 7.4ms, which makes use of a five-channel high-performance custom IC.
In terms of thermals, it boasts an ICE 9.0 Multi-dimensional Cooling System that includes a 4,124 mm2 vapor chamber heat dissipation plate, as well as two air channel intakes of Turbo Fan can that reach up to 20,000 rpm speed.
The Obsidian variant includes lighting effects featuring RGB breathing lights, while the Supernova edition comes with the famed built-in turbofan that can be seen through the transparent back.
