After a few years of announcing their latest device at their own Unpacked events, Samsung has begun to participate in the MWC Event again. The Mobile World Congress (MWC) is one of the most anticipated exhibits for the latest Samsung devices and other emerging technologies from different companies.
The Samsung Galaxy MWC Event will take place on February 27 at 1 pm ET and is entirely virtual as well just like the Unpacked Event. You can watch it on Samsung’s YouTube channel.
It’s unclear what Samsung has planned for this next event, but the event has a Galaxy name in it, so it’ll be a mobile device. Also, they have a sneak preview of what’s to come, and by judging on the GIF-looking video on the Samsung Newsroom, the first device could be a laptop that unfolds from its display facing up and opens 360 degrees or a tablet with a keyboard attached, following that are all Samsung current devices. There could be a new lineup for their Galaxy Z Flip or Galaxy Z Fold devices, as well as Chromebooks and Wearables.
We don’t know what device will be revealed yet, but we will definitely be watching on February 27th. Stay tuned for more updates.
