Lenovo has unveiled a new affordable smartphone last Tuesday. The Lenovo K14 Plus, despite its more basic segment, has attractive specifications to its audience that include a more fluid screen and triple camera. Although new to the Russian market, the model is just a renamed version of the Moto E40.
The design is identical to the device we already know – we are talking about a plastic rear construction with wavy details, a pill-shaped camera module and a fingerprint sensor in the center. The only difference is the absence of the Motorola “M” logo, replaced by the “Lenovo” spelling.
Moving on to the technical details, the 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen continues to offer HD+ resolution distributed in 20:9 aspect ratio and 90 Hz refresh rate. The edges are thick, especially at the bottom. The display also has a hole dedicated to the 8MP front camera.
The rear camera set can attract the main lens with a resolution of 48MP, but the auxiliary sensors are only 2MP. The primary camera supports video recording in up to 1080p at 30 fps.
The Lenovo K14 Plus is equipped with the UNISOC T700 processor, an octa-core that operates at frequencies up to 1.8GHz. The only memory configuration — 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage expandable with microSD card.
To power the hardware, there’s a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 10W charging via USB Type-C. Other specifications include the presence of Android 11 and a headphone jack with P2 standard.
The Lenovo K14 Plus is now available on the Russian market with an MSRP of RUB 9,990, that is, around ~PHP 6,800. There are two color options — Graphite and Rose.
