Huawei P50 Pocket with gapless clamshell foldable display now official

Huawei has officially unveiled its first-ever clamshell-type foldable smartphone in China, the Huawei P50 Pocket. It boasts a gapless mechanism design when folded thanks to Huawei’s patented multi-dimensional hinge.

There’s a dual circular design at the back just like the P50 series with one of the circles housing a 1-inch AMOLED screen that can display time, date, notifications, widgets, maps, music players, and more. The other circle houses the triple rear cameras with a 40MP main camera, 13MP ultrawide shooter, and a 32MP Ultra Spectrum camera for more color details. Upfront is a 13MP selfie camera. The smartphone also comes with Laser AF tech to focus faster and XD Fusion Pro technology to improve the overall quality of the images.
