ASUS ROG Phone 5s series to launch in to Philippines on December 8

ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has announced that the ROG Phone 5s series is coming to the Philippines on December 8. It includes the ROG Phone 5s and ROG Phone 5s Pro.

To recap, the smartphones were globally launched in August. The ROG Phone 5s series features a 6.78-inch FHD+ Samsung AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. They are powered by a Snapdragon 888+ 5G SoC with an Adreno 660 GPU. They come in triple rear cameras, and a 6,000mAh battery with 65W fast charging. Check out their full specs below.

ROG Phone 5s X PUBG: NEW STATE

Moreover, ROG also announced a collaboration between the ROG Phone 5s series and PUBG: NEW STATE, a next-generation battle royal mobile title from global gaming publisher KRAFTON.

Starting in November, the collaboration will present a series of elite show matches dubbed the ROG Phone 5s x PUBG: NEW STATE Elite Showmatch. It has a combined prize pool of gaming gear worth over USD 50,000 (~PHP 2,533,100).

The campaign will feature a series of 100-player online tournaments across EMEA (Europe, the Middle East, and Africa) and APAC (Asia-Pacific) regions. With the participation of a combined total of over 20 top influencers from around the globe, players can join the survival matches to pit their skills against their local influencers. These influencers will not only join the battle but will also live-stream the matches on their social media accounts, allowing the entire world to watch the combat.
