LG recently introduced a new prototype of its rollable OLED screen back at CES 2016. It caught our eyes and really interested us. As a gamer and someone who generally loves entertainment, I’ve thought of many amazing possibilities that the innovative device could be used at. Imagine different possibilities, new ways for everyone to watch movies, play games, record lost time and even reminisce.

Entertainment-wise, it’s a very interesting tool to have. Imagine a livelier and bigger version of the rollable screen that you’ll be able to take anywhere. Camping is no unfun matter anymore and especially to someone who doesn’t exactly enjoy the outside world as much as other people. Watching movies and series anywhere you can go, for as long as you can connect it over to a device, a very accurate representation of a television’s screen with the utility of rollable cinema screens, that is quite magnificent to say the least.
Imagine the possibilities of gaming events through that device. Esport events are now more impactful and more communicative thanks to the rollable screen and an upgrade high-res version of that device would surely bring out the gaming experience in gaming tournaments and events, bringing more immersion on the audience, as well as the players.

Special videos set specifically for teaching through the rollable screen would highly give interest to the students and participants alike. A more communicable approach in which everyone in the class can get up close and personal with the particular subject in hand. Videos that can be seen at high-res and is specifically built for a certain subject will help the next generation in understanding that subject in a clearer way than through textbooks and lectures.
Different government establishments and all-around business establishment could benefit greatly on this particular tool. It’s not that hard to put it at any different establishment that will caught the eyes of different customers or participants that comes in the establishment.
As a whole, the LG rollable screen delivers a lot of possible usages, however, the world might not be ready for it yet and a lot more are needed to cover before everything is set and done.
