Released earlier this week in China, the nubia REDMAGIC 9S Pro is now ready to go global! A listing together with a countdown through REDMAGIC’s global website revealed that it will launch globally on July 16.
To recap, the nubia REDMAGIC 9S Pro boasts the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version, which is an overclocked version of the chip with a Cortex-X4 CPU core at 3.4GHz and boosts the Adreno 750 GPU to 1GHz. It has an AnTuTu score of 2,369,542 points, the highest of any Android yet.
A 10182mm² single-layer vapor chamber (VC) plate and new frost cooling gel are features of the ICE 13.5 advanced cooling system, which lowers the core temperature to 19.5°C by reducing thermal resistance. A new 22,000 rpm high-speed turbofan with shark-fin blades and a low noise level of 4dB is also included.
It sports a 6.8-inch FHD+ OLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate, up to 960Hz touch sampling rate, 10-bit color depth and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, up to 1600 nits peak brightness, DC dimming, and 21600Hz PWM dimming.
Other features include up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM, up to 512GB UFS 4.0 internal storage, a 50MP Samsung GN5 main sensor, a 50MP Samsung JN1 120-degree ultra-wide shooter, a 2MP GigaDevice GC02M1 macro lens, and 6,500mAh battery with 80W fast charging.


The nubia REDMAGIC 9S Pro will go official globally on July 16, 2024. Pricing details has yet to be revealed.
For comparison, the REDMAGIC 9 Pro that launched in the Philippines started at PHP 46,999. The REDMAGIC 9S Pro’s retail price could go much higher.
