Samsung has teased a new Galaxy S smartphone ahead of its upcoming Galaxy Event on August 27, 2026.
Samsung Korea shared a teaser on X with the message, “Beyond the familiar, even fresher. Are you ready to welcome the new Galaxy S?”
Samsung Mobile also shared the teaser, further hinting at the arrival of a new Galaxy S device.
While Samsung has not yet revealed the device, rumors point to the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE as the likely announcement.
According to unofficial specifications, the Galaxy S26 FE is expected to feature a 6.7-inch Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X display. It may also use Samsung’s Exynos 2500 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.
For cameras, the rumored setup includes a 50MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and a 12MP ultrawide camera. A 12MP front-facing camera is also expected.
The phone is also rumored to come with a 4,900mAh battery supporting 45W wired charging.
On the software side, the Galaxy S26 FE is rumored to launch with Android 17 and One UI 9, with up to seven major Android OS updates.
The Galaxy S26 FE is expected to come in Light Green, potentially serving as the hero color shown in Samsung’s teaser.
Samsung is expected to reveal the full details of the new Galaxy S device during the August 27 Galaxy Event. The company has yet to officially confirm the Galaxy S26 FE name and its specifications.
