Lenovo will officially present its upcoming gaming handheld, Legion Go 2, at IFA 2025 in Berlin this September. As you might remember, the device was first revealed in prototype form at CES 2025 alongside the Legion Go S.
Ahead of the launch, tipster Evan Blass shared photos of the Legion Go 2 on X, showing its design and features.
The Lenovo Legion Go 2 comes with an 8.8-inch PureSight OLED screen and supports up to 144Hz refresh rate with variable refresh options for better battery life.

Its detachable Legion Truestrike controller now has six programmable buttons (two on the side of the right controller and four at the back) plus a fingerprint scanner on the power button, which wasn’t on the first model.

The device supports different play modes:
Inside, it’s powered by AMD’s new Ryzen Z2 Extreme chip, with 8 cores and 16 threads, boosting up to 5 GHz, and an RDNA 3.5 GPU with 16 cores running up to 2900 MHz for strong graphics performance.

Other upgrades include a durable, easy-to-clean coating and Legion Coldfront cooling, which pulls air in from the back and vents heat through the top to keep it running smoothly.
The Lenovo Legion Go 2 pricing and availability will be announced during the IFA 2025 in Berlin from September 5, 2025, to September 9, 2025.
