vivo is preparing to launch the vivo y500 in China as the successor to the y300, which was introduced in December 2024.

However, according to tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the device will boast a flat display with 120Hz AMOLED panel.
No details about the camera prowess yet, but it is confirmed to feature a circular rear camera module.
Apart from that, it is expected to be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 chipset with an IP68-rated body for dust and water resistance.
The phone is also said to include an 8,200mAh battery, the largest capacity on any vivo device so far.
As for its design, the teaser photos revealed that the Y500 will be available in three colors; black, purple, and blue.
