Qualcomm is reportedly preparing to launch its next flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5.
According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the new processor is built on TSMC’s N3P process and uses Qualcomm’s custom Oryon CPU architecture.
It has two ultra cores clocked at 3.8GHz and six performance cores running at 3.32GHz.

The chipset is paired with an Adreno 840 GPU, which runs at 1.2GHz and offers slightly lower performance than the Snapdragon 8 Elite’s GPU.
In early benchmark results, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 reportedly scored over 3.3 million points on AnTuTu and around 3,000 (single-core) and 10,000 (multi-core) on Geekbench 6. It also achieved about 100 FPS in the Aztec 1440p graphics test.
Performance is said to be close to the Snapdragon 8 Elite, but with better power efficiency and temperature control thanks to the N3P process.
As for its launch, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 will likely launch in November or December 2025. Stay tuned!
