Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) is gearing up to launch a subcompact SUV called 2022 Toyota Raize. It is set to be revealed sometime in February 2022.
Ahead of its launch, it was revealed that the upcoming 2022 Toyota Raize will come in four variants. The base variant has a 1.2-liter three-cylinder gasoline engine paired with a five-speed manual transmission and can produce around 88hp and up to 113Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the top-of-the-line offers a 1.0-liter 3-cylinder engine mated to a continuously variable transmission capable of producing up to 98hp and 140Nm of torque.
For colors, the 1.2-liter variants are available in Gray Metallic, Silver Metallic, and Red. On the other hand, the 1.0-liter turbo models will arrive in Turquoise, Yellow, and White Pearl colors.
There’s no official specification yet but it is expected to feature a two-tone color scheme, sequential-type signal lights, LED headlights, power-folding mirrors, and 17-inch alloy wheels on the exterior. The other variants will be equipped with halogen headlights and 16-inch alloy wheels.
For the interior, the 2022 Toyota Raize is said to arrive with either a 9-inch or 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It will also include a smart keyless feature and many safety features.
