
Consumers could indeed expect the hype from the super upgraded camera system of the just launched Asus Zenfone 4 and Zenfone 4 Pro. As the press event theme is “We love Photos,” the Zenfone 4 series’ camera specs indeed prove that to be true.
Both the Zenfone 4 and 4 Pro sports a 5.5-inch 1080p LCD display but the flagship Pro has an AMOLED display. While the Zenfone 4 has Snapdragon 660, the 4 Pro is powered by Snapdragon 835.
Interestingly, consumers could expect to take wide selfies or “welfies” with the flagship Zenfone 4 due to its dual-camera of 12MP+8MP with a wide-angle 120-degree rear camera. On the other hand, the Zenfone 4 Pro offers a 12MP+16MP rear but this time with 2x Zoom feature. Both have a front 8MP camera.
Aside from that, both cameras of the devices have outstanding camera quality due to the integration of 1.4um sensor pixels, an F1.8 aperture, and 4-axis OIS. The Zenfone 4 Pro also has a bigger battery juice of 3,600mAh compared to the first with only 3,300mAh battery.
Nonetheless, the price of the Zenfone 4 is said to start from $399, roughly P 20,000. Meanwhile, the Zenfone 4 Pro will cost $599 or P 30,000. The Zenfone series was said to come as pre-order for Asia Pacific countries. So stay tuned here or on ASUS’ website for updates on where to get them.
