The Xiaomi Watch S2 is the company’s newest and most advanced smartwatch, just released recently.
It comes in two different diameters, 42mm and 46mm, with AMOLED displays of 1.32 inches and 1.43 inches, respectively. Both have a resolution that is exactly 466 by 466 pixels.
The display is supposed to be made of sapphire glass, while the frame is said to be made of stainless steel. The watch has been tested to withstand water pressure equivalent to 5 ATM.
It features over one hundred sports modes, including a professional running mode. It even has a body composition sensor that can determine how much fat is on a person’s body.
Other features, such as monitoring for skin temperature, O2 saturation, menstrual cycles, stress, and sleep, are also included. Additionally, the device consists of guided breathing exercises.
The Mijia Watch S2 has a microphone and speaker that can accept calls while the user is on the go. Additionally, the Watch S2 can link with the Mijia App to access even additional capabilities, such as Safety Tracking.
Additionally, it supports contactless payments via NFC and features GPS and Bluetooth 5.2 for communication. Bluetooth 5.2 is also included.
The battery life of the 42mm model is rated to last up to 7 days, while the battery life of the 46mm model is rated to last up to 12 days.
The case of the 42mm watch is available in either Black or Light Gold, while the case of the 46mm watches is available in either Black or Silver.
In addition, the watch can be purchased with either a leather strap, a silicone strap that is significantly brighter, or a buckle strap that features a contrasting hue.
Pricing and Availability
The Xiaomi Watch S2 is now available to purchase in China.
The 42mm costs about ¥999 (around ₱8,000), and ¥1,099 (approx. ₱8,800) for the 46mm variant.
