Last year, Xiaomi launched its Mi Neckband Bluetooth headset and now it seems that the company is going to launch a Pro model. Xiaomi India revealed the Mi Neckband Bluetooth Earphones Pro and this time it packs tons of cool new features.
The first one is the adding of the Active Noise Cancellation which was not present with the previous model. According to the company, the earphones are able to reduce noise up to 25 decibels. Also, the Pro is now IPX5 certified meaning that it is splash and sweatproof. So, you don’t have to worry about your earphones getting wet by rain or while exercising.
One cool new addition is that the Mi Neckband Bluetooth Earphones Pro has 20 hours of playback compared to its predecessor that has only 8 hours. However, one should keep in mind that the volume is 50% compared to the standard model which is 80%. Also, there are no updates if playback is affected if ANC is active. Also, the new headset has a slightly bigger battery (which is at 150mAh) comparing to the standard (140mAh).
The earphones will have a starting price at Rs 1,799 or PHP 1,208, roughly estimated. As of now, there is no news on when it would be available in local stores.
