After the launch of the Xiaomi 17 Series in China last September 2025. The brand is now teasing for the upcoming addition to the series, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra.
According to the photo teaser shared on Xiaomi’s official Weibo account, the upcoming Ultra variant will still feature a Leica lens. This time, highlighting a Leica APO certified telephoto lens, which is according to the post, a first in mobile imaging.
Also, initial report suggesed that the Xiaomi 17 Ultra has received approval from a Chinese regulatory body for direct satellite connectivity. It confirmed the addition of UWB (Ultra Wideband) support, which would be a first for Xiaomi’s flagship lineup.
The post also mentions an improved imaging at low light scenarios. Despite the official teaser, specification is still under wraps.
On the other hand, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra is expected to launch by next week of December 2025.
