The Xiaomi 15 series is set to launch on October 29. However, leaks have already surfaced online revealing the design of the upcoming Xiaomi 15 Ultra, Xiaomi’s next top-of-the-line smartphone, which will release on a later date.
Based on the photos from Smartprix, the allegedly Xiaomi 15 Ultra will sport a new camera design at the back. It will still feature a huge circular camera island and a leather back finish. The huge camera bump will house four cameras with three of them horizontally aligned, which is odd for camera designs nowadays.
The Leica moniker is placed at the top left and two LED flash at the top.
The quad cameras will reportedly feature a 50MP SONY main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide shooter, a 50MP telephoto lens, and a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP9 1/1.4” periscope lens with 4.3x optical zoom and f/2.6 aperture.
Meanwhile, upfront is rumored to be a 32MP selfie camera.
Other rumored specs of the device include a 6.7-inch 2K micro quad-curved LTPO OLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, 6000mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging and 80W wireless charging, and Xiaomi HyperOS 2.0 (Android 15) for OS.
it is expected to be unveiled in February 2025 in China.
Official information about the Xiaomi 15 Ultra has yet to be revealed, so stay tuned for more updates.
